Spanking new 2018 Camry is all set to take on the competition

Well , as we all know the Toyota Camry has been a quite common sight on all our roads . Those dull looking cars got a revamp in the year 2005 along with all the other Toyota cars . The car once again got an upgrade to body dynamics in the year 2012 but it still maintained its dull looks .

With the Nissan Altima , Kia Optima , Honda Accord and the Mazda 6 , picking up the market due to updated designs , Toyota thought it was kind of losing the game . Now that it is all done neatly again , the Camry is ready for the challenge posed by strong contenders in the mid-size segment.

The Camry is expected to be sold with two engine options followed by a hybrid. The earlier 2.4 litre engine has been tuned for better on road experience and a cheerful new 3.5 litre V6 has been added exclusively for the Sport trim high end version. The only other cars with the 3.5 litre V6 in the mid-size segment are the Altima and the Accord. Toyota USA confirmed that the engine ratings and mileage have improved considerably , but numbers were not released.

The brand new Camry was showcased at the Detroit Auto Show in Jan 2017 and is expected to enter dealerships by this summer.
