Tesla launches in UAE , Coming to India this summer says CEO Elon

Tesla Motors who have come a long way from where they started , are now making mark all over the world . Beginning with sales limited only in the state of California in USA in 2009 , the manufacturer now sells its EV's in all continents in a matter of eight years .

Over the last week Tesla expanded its territory into the UAE making Dubai its regional headquarters. In an interview with the CEO Elon Musk , he confirmed that Tesla will be expanding to all countries in the GCC , within the next four years. Elon Musk also spent an hour with the King of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum , regarding its plan to expand car sales into the Middle-east market and also tap the abundant Solar Power of the region . 

In a recent tweet Tesla CEO Elon Musk said that the company is hoping to expand its territories into the Indian subcontinent later this summer. Tesla earlier released a statement that it would be launching the Model 3 , the latest in its production line , in India at an estimated rate of  RS 44 lakh . 

The Model 3 which was launched in 2016 at the company's headquarters is open for booking by paying  a reservation fee of  $1000. The company will soon begin production of the Model 3 at the new Gigafactory at Nevada , USA.  

The Model 3 is the fourth car from  Tesla Motors , the other three being the Roadster(Discontinued), Model S, Model X. 

The Model S achieved a record to its name by becoming the fastest mass produced car on earth , a position previously owned by the Bugatti Veyron.
