All Electric Future

With a number of F1 racers seriously considering the shift to Formula E, and world governments considering on pulling the plug on IC engines, its pretty much evident that the future is going to be all electric.

Several auto manufacturers have already started manufacturing electric cars. Some with 2 motors some with 4 and some others with 24. The world of EV's is in its own league beyond the gas guzzlers.

Here is a list of our favorite EVs manufacturers:

1) Tesla

The pioneers of EV technology of the 21st century, Tesla have shaken the industry with the Model S which we call a sheep in wolf's clothing. The deceivingly sedanish look of the car behold the secret of power and speed the motto of Jeremy Clarkson from Amazon's Grand Tour. Today a used Model S can be purchased for under 70K and that is quite a bargain for what Tesla has to offer. The same thing goes with the Model X as well and the family van kind of SUV can easily slip into supercar territory without much ado. The Model 3 too has a lot to give, being a mass production EV its got to meet expectations of all customers and keep Tesla's name high.

2) Nissan

The mass users of CVT slumber, Nissan has an EV too. The Leaf, one of the largest selling EV's on earth the leaf is what the future needs. Affordable, practical and user-friendly. It would be great if Nissan offered a few other cars in all-electric formats but there is time and Nissan have already reserved a seat for the future.

Porsche, Volkswagen, Audi and Skoda have given us insights on how a Volks group EV could be. With the Golf EV on sale and Porsche Taycan on the coming soon list, the future does look promising for the Germans.

7) Fisker/Karma Motors

Karma motors the brainchild of Henrik Fisker was overshadowed by Tesla just years after it was launched. But things have moved on since. Fisker that declared its bankruptcy in 2015, revived itself in 2017. This time they shocked the battery industry by patenting a solid state battery for their BEV. The very year they also showcased their new car the E-motion. They definitely have secured a spot for the future.

9) BMW

This name is quite alien to most readers. But this is what your really looking for "24 motors". Yes you heard that right. 24 motors. Quite alien. So is the name of the brand. Alieno which stands for Alien in Italian is an Italian automaker that has stuffed 24 motors and 5221bhp into a megacar. It is estimated that the car can produce 6-7MW of energy. It was only a while ago that Koeniggsegg achieved the 1MW mark with the One:One and now we have 6. Holly Molly!!!

A few mentionable Automakers who have really impressed us are

Jaguar, EQ(Mercedes Benz), Proterra and Mahindra.

Be it any carmaker, the future is set for EVs and that is right where we are headed. So get those ICE cars soon especially a rare one cause its going to earn you a fortune in the near future as they are on the verge of extinction.
